Schematic and PCB Layout
Our workflow begins with schematic design and component selection, opimizing your BOM for cost and component lifecycle availability. We conduct periodic technical reviews and schematic sign-off meetings with your team prior to initiating the layout phase. During layout, we perform careful stack-up planning and implement stringent signal and power integrity constraints to maintain signal integrity, minimize crosstalk, mitigate voltage drops and control EMI. We incorporate robust DFM and DFT rules to optimize yield and testability. We ensure hardware robustness from the EMC standpoint, a critical requirement for noisy environments like the lab.
Manufacture and Assembly
We specialize in the production of small batches of high quality boards. Since all our hardware is assembled in Europe, we are highly responsive and ready to deliver fast turnarounds. We debug every board prior to delivery, running tests like continuity, temperature, current leaks, or BGA X-ray. We also perform board-specific checks like cycling through all i2c slave devices. Because each board undergoes rigorous testing you eliminate unnecessary debugging and rework, ensuring there are no surprises and the hardware is functional on day 0.
Board Control Software
We provide comprehensive software solutions to interface with your boards. Whether you need libraries to integrate with your lab’s existing software ecosystem or a full standalone solution for demonstration or other purposes, we will implement and deliver the board software fully tested and ready to work alongside the hardware. We have extensive experience in the development of evaluation software for the lab using Python and LabVIEW. To meet your specific needs, we can also handle the implementation of advanced GUIs with C/C++ and frameworks such as Qt or Gtk.
